Location: AKRR Catering Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager/Onboard Captain Summary Assists lead cook in accurately and efficiently preparing meats, sandwiches, salads, soups and other food products as well as portion food products prior to cooking. Also performs other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations AK State Food Workers Card Education and/or Experience This is an entry level position. There is no experience required. On the job training will be applied. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports/orders. Ability to speak effectively before customers. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract and calculate figures and amounts such as discounts. Other Qualifications Work long hours on moving railcar, travel 50% of the time.
