Description
We are looking for a Janitor/General Helper to work at one of our remote locations outside of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Summary Janitorial Services in common areas of camp.

Education and/or Experience Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary Janitorial Services in common areas of camp.
Responsibilities
- Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and stairways.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays, transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
- Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to maintenance.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Cleans out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
