Description
This is a general application to be considered for any remote site head cook position for ESS located throughout Alaska and Western US.
Responsibilities
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Formal craft training is preferred.
State of Alaska Food Worker Card - ServSafe preferred
Responsibilities
- Cooks food in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served in accordance with scope of services.
- Plans menu taking advantage of leftover foods and foods in season.
- Orders supplies and keeps records and accounts.
- Directs and trains activities of workers who assist in preparing and serving meals.
- Ensures all activities are carried out in compliance with company vision, values, guiding principles, and policies and procedures.
