General Helper/Kitchen Helper/Housekeeper - Oooguruk North Slope
 

This is a rewarding position who love to work in food service to include prepping, cooking food, and cleaning/maintaining work areas.

The successful General Helper will:

• Wash service ware, pots, pans
• Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, floors
• Remove trash, clean garbage cans
• Load or unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food and rotates product
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure food safety, a safe workplace, and a positive team atmosphere.
• Carry out all activities in compliance with laws, regulations, company vision, values, guiding principles, and policies and procedures.
• Clean rooms-make beds,vacuum,dust, clean toilets and showers
• Laundry
• May assist in preparing food by washing, cutting, etc., as directed by cook

The General Helper must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 
 
In addition to the duties performed, the individual must be able to physically and mentally work away from home, family, and friends for extended remote rotation.  Twelve hours daily, seven days a week, Four weeks on and Two weeks off.   The point of hire for this position is Anchorage, Alaska, and this means it is the employee's responsibility to report to the point of hire from their home.
 
Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

• Alaska Food Worker Card Required
• Valid Drivers’ License and clean driving record may be required
• First Aid Certification may be required
• CPR Certification may be required
