This is a part-time position, approximately 25 hours a week, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.    $12/hour plus tips
 

Summary

Prepares and services drinks to order to customers in Internet Café Setting including accepting payment and using POS system.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Prepares and serves espresso and related beverages to customers.
  • Stocks display.
  • Adheres to, and embraces safety best practice and corporate policies, procedures, programs.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Follows cashiering policies and procedures and protects the assets of the company.
  • Cleans as works and ensures all equipment is working properly before use. Cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment, service tools and items.
  • Ensures all areas of responsibility stocked sufficiently for utilization by customers at any time.
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities; however, expected to train and assist team members as required.

Education and/or Experience

Six months to one year of Barista experience preferred.

  

Certificates, Registrations, Licenses

  • Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • CPR, First Aid

 

Technical Skills

Must be able to successfully navigate and utilize computer and software tools, or learn how to use, which are utilized by the company. POS System; Web Browsers; Recognition Programs
